Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening

Radio frequency skin tightening is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment where radio frequency (RF) energy is used to heat the deeper layer of skin known as the dermis.

This application of heat stimulates collagen and elastin production, resulting in an improvement in skin laxity and the appearance of fine lines.

The RF device generates heat to around 40-45 degrees.
This level of heat speeds up cell turnover and gives collagen and elastin production a kick start.
There may be some redness, tingling or tenderness at the site of treatment.
This will resolve quickly.
Your level of comfort will be continually assessed to ensure your safety and wellbeing.

RF skin tightening treatments last around 30 to 45mins (depending on the area).

A treatment plan will usually consist of 4-6 weekly treatments (frequency of treatment is dictated by the area being treated).


RF skin tightening is safe but not suitable for everyone and should be avoided by people with surgical or medical devices implanted in their body (i.e., pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants), or people with significant active skin conditions. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are not suitable for treatment.
